Why choose Dalyan?
Dalyan is a lovely small riverside town, a conservation area surrounded by cotton fields, orange and lemon groves and pine clad mountains. Development is limited in Dalyan which means no high rise buildings, Greenpeace plays an active role and local people still make a living fishing and farming.
Dalyan has a beautiful beach, one of the last few remaining nesting sites of the loggerhead turtle and has been voted one of the safest beaches for children.
There is an ancient city of Kaunos just the other side of the river as well as spectacular 4th Century rock tombs carved into the cliff face. There are also famous local mud baths and thermal springs popular since ancient times. Koycegiz lake is beautiful, spend a day just cruising around it.
There is so much to do and see that you certainly won't be bored or disappointed.
Dalyan has everything; beach, mountains, river, lake, history, scenery, fantastic excursions. Why don't you find out for yourself?

Have a picnic or barbecue. Learn how to dive. Get up early to see the lake turtles. Appreciate Dalyan’s stunning scenery from a microlite to a jeep safari or why not try quad biking?
You can relax in a riverside restaurant, watch the boats go by and marvel at the illuminated rock tombs. Have fun bargaining in the market or in one of the carpet, jewellery or leather shops.
