Wifi internet access, satellite tv (english and french), dvd player, films, large selection of books. The kitchen is equipped with an electric/gas range cooker and all modern facilities. French doors lead out to covered southfacing paved terrace and eating area with barbecue. Pool with roman steps (cleaned daily), sun terrace, loungers. Bedlinen and house towels are all provided. The village of Lauzun is 3 km away which has all your shopping requirements plus a good restaurant and a 14th-17th Century Chateau.

25 minutes drive south of Bergerac and the famous Château of Manbazzilac, St. Colomb de Lauzun, which is just into the department of Lot et Garonne, is ideal for touring the Dordogne valley and the vineyards of St. Emilion and Bordeaux.
Lot et Garonne is a department of gently rolling countryside and pretty bastide villages such as Castillonnés, Villereal and Monflanquin, where weekly markets are held in the cobbled squares. There are many good restaurants within easy reach where you can try the local gastronomic delights such as foie gras and confit de canard. This is also the area for walnuts and prunes and on a warm summer evening you can smell the wonderful aromas from the prune ovens in the village.
