| The house is arranged on three levels. It is well equipped and furnished. The top bedroom has its own terrace with wonderful views. It also benefits from two additonal terraces outside, one next to the house and one along side the pool. Both have the sun all day long. The house is set in 6000 square metres of land, including its own wood. It is a very natural, beautiful and peaceful spot. |

Casa Bandita is one half of an original farmhouse. It is well situated on the outskirts of the small town of Giove, It offers some very good walks locally and there are bicycles at the house to use. It is 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk to Giove. Giove offers good facilities including a Co-op, bank, chemists, 3 butchers, a couple of bars and one restaurant.
Amelia is 15 minutes away by car and this offers a greater selection of shops and restaurants. It also has the beautiful historic town of Amelia, which is well worth a visit.
Giove is easily arrived at by motorway. From the two nearest airports which are both in Rome: Fiumicino and Ciampino it takes about 1.1/4 hrs

Umbria is a wonderful place for your holiday. Enjoy the beautiful countryside and stay at Casa Bandita. It has a private pool and a large garden. It is a great place for children who can enjoy the pool and can explore the garden with it’s own wood. If you are lucky you may spot wild boar , porcipines and in June the beautiful fireflies. It is 5 minutes by car from the local town of Giove or alternatively a 20 minute walk. Bikes are available at the house. Very pleasant bike rides and walking are on offer for those who wish to partake. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy this part of Umbria.

Casa Bandita is one half of a converted and restored farmhouse. It is also a listed building. It is situated on 3 levels. It sleeps up to 6 and has one double bedroom, and two singles. The top floor of the house has it’s own terrace which offers a fantastic panorama of the local countyside and of the town of Giove itself. It is well equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. It has a cd/radio/tape stereo and satelite TV, DVD and video player. There is also a good selection of books, videos and games.
Our aim with Casa Bandita is to provide good accommodation whilst retaining the simplicity and atmosphere of a typical Italian country house

The location of Casa Bandita to Giove offers good local shopping, bank, chemist and a weekly market. It has one restaurant, a take away pizza bar, and three bars. It is an ideal place from which to explore Umbria. There is a good train service into Rome from Orte which is 30 minutes drive away or a less frequent service from Attligiano, 10 minutes by car. Rome is about a 45 minutes journey and a day return ticket will cost around 9 euros. It provides an excellent opportunity to spend the day in Rome and come back and cool off in the pool. There are many places to visit within 2 hours drive and an idea of these places are:
Amelia, Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Orvieto, Spoleto, Siena, Florence, Viterbo, Terni, Lake Trasimeno, and the west coast is about 1.5 hours drive. In addition there are many beautiful hilltop top villages, so typical of this area.
