Can Matas is a newly restored Catalan masia (farmhouse) located in a very quiet and unspoiled valley. It is a perfect place to have a peaceful and stress-free break by enjoying nature. The house is sitting in 42 hectares of fields and woods that are part of the property, which offers the opportunity for good adventurous walks. Furthermore, the whole area is perfect for good walks or mountain bike tours (there are several paths marked for that purpose including the famous “Carrilet”, a 40 km path that goes from Olot to Girona -Amer is approximately in the middle of that-).
