The villa is situated on the unspoilt Western Algarve, just across from Parque da Floresta golf course with its clubhouse, restaurant, tennis courts, health fitness and beauty spa. Salema beach is just over a mile away, but there are several beaches along that coastal strip to choose from, including Boca do Rio a nature reserve.
5 - 8 mins away by car are Burgau and Praia da Luz, they are very popular with tourists, for night life, restaurants, Scuba diving, Windsurfing, Horse Riding, Fishing, Climbing etc. The Pretty and historical town of Lagos is just 10 mins away by car, It has a wonderful promenade, that stretches as far as the old Fort, a variety of shops specialising in silver, filigree, pottery, leather and copper. If Dolphin watching interests you, there's a boat that departs daily from the Marina. Sagres is just 5 miles away,the Lands End of Europe, and so worth a visit.
