| This beautiful villa is tastefully furnished and has a lovely veranda with outdoor living and dining area and fantastic views with spectacular sunsets across the pool to the sea. Semicircular tiled steps lead down into the large private pool. For summer comfort the Villa has cool tiled floors, floor standing fans and insect screens on all windows and doors. The wood burning stove keeps the Villa cosy in the cooler season. A shopping service is available for late Saturday or Sunday arrivals as the main shops and supermarkets in Motril are closed on Sundays. |

Please bring your own beach/pool towels and CDs/cassettes. Some video tapes are provided. The pool is 1 metre deep at the shallow end and 2 metres at the deep end. As the pool is unfenced it is not suitable for children who are unsupervised.

The villa is situated above the pretty white village of La Garnatilla which has 2 mineral water springs fed by the melting snows of the Sierra Nevada. Local produce is still transported by donkey or mule down from the hills and the church bell rings every Sunday morning as it has done since the mid 18th century. Motril is still relatively undiscovered and is delightfully Spanish in character. There is a 18 hole Golf Course, Marina & Yacht Club at the Port, Hypermarket, Markets, Good Restaurants and the local Bars still give a free tapa (bite of food) with a drink.

The surrounding area has bars and restaurants, a water park, watersports facilities, a bird park, golf course and prehistoric caves. There are large family beaches with bars and restaurants, as well as unspoilt secluded coves and nature trails. Granada with its beautiful Alhambra palaces is less than an hour away and there is snow ski-ing in season.
