Our villa is over 200 years old and lovingly renovated in the traditional Andalucian style with all the comforts of home to help you unwind and relax. Surrounded by the smell of orange blossom and jasmin, the profusion of wild flowers and the distant sound of the goat bells. In summer there are flamenco festivals, fiestas large and small and at Easter time the famous Passion play in Riogordo. When you arrive at Cortijo El Terral you suddenly feel calm and know that life will be easier for a while. Wander through the gardens and enjoy the colour, do nothing but relax by the pool or under the areas shaded from the sunlight. Smell the clean air, the scent of the orange and lemon blossom, the heady scent of Jasmine and Dama de Noche. There is silence only the singing of the birds. The beauty and calmness will soothe you and stay in your memory. Come and hideaway.

The area around the Cortijo is flat and there are several terraces all with flat areas. Few steps only.

Our villa and area is for those who like bird watching,walking, painting, golf, cycling, mask and snorkelling and exploring by car to Granada, Cordoba,Seville, Marbella and the different beaches or for just relaxing around the pool which has extensive mountain views. There are endless local areas to explore including the caves at Nerja. It is the real Spain with almond and olive trees and little bars and restaurants in the white washed villages. Local dishes can be sampled as well as fresh sardines cooked on the beach. It is an area which has something for everyone.
