Moraira is known as the Millionaires' Playground and lies between Javea and Calpe. This Apartment has an American kitchen, good-sized sitting and dining areas, double bedroom and further bedroom with a bed that can be made up as either a single, double or linked twin - each with built-in wardrobe. The very comfortable Sofabed in the living room converts quickly and easily into a double bed. There is also a shower room and private terrace accessed by both living area and main bedroom. There is a shared roof-top pool (with large shallow area) and attractive gardens with children's play equipment, and a small funfair within walking distance. Central Moraira has real Spanish charm and a warm welcome for visitors.

Moraira's green countryside, shady pine woods and citrus groves make a relaxing setting for a holiday away from package tour crowds, although there is plenty of life in and around the Town. There are 2 safe, sandy beaches with bars, and rocky coves nearby. The town has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive holiday resort which retains its local charm . . . and its fish - if you like fish you will love Moraira! There is an abundance of restaurants, bars and smart little shops which crowd around the popular marina, not to mention some very friendly Tapas Bars. All of these, and a supermarket (in the next block and open from 08.00am - 02.00am every day) are within just a few minutes walk from the apartment so no need for a car, although we would recommend one if you want to visit the nearby resorts of Javea or Calpe, the wine-growing Jalon Valley or the activity parks of Terra Mitica and Aqualandia near Benidorm, not forgetting the lovely local golf courses.

There is a long, but slender terrace accessed by both bedroom and living room, and from here you can sit in the cool of the evening - either watching the world go by on its way into Moraira or looking across to the villa-dotted hills in the near-distance. The shared roof-top pool is generally open from May to September and has views to the sea and the Rock Ifach near Calpe. There is an air-conditioning unit which can also be used for heating during cooler weather and, for shade in Summer there are awnings on the terrace and roll-down blinds on the windows, together with mosquito netting. The window blinds also give added security, and there is a telephone operated system which is connected to the main door of the block so that callers can be screened.
We have an allocated space in the secure parking area beneath the apartments, which will keep your car cool during the summer months, and wheelchair access has recently been completed both through the main entrance to the apartment block and via the lift from the carpark directly into the foyer. The pool area is likewise accessible via the lift. This apartment is therefore probably suitable for those with impaired mobility, but please let us know if you need further information on that as it may not work for someone completely wheelchair-bound.
Moraira is just over an hour from Alicante or Valencia airports. Directions and help with car-hire/taxis will be supplied.
The beautiful 9-hole Moraira golf-course with poolside bar/restaurant and magical views down to the sea is open to non-members and is within a few minutes drive, with the popular 18-hole course at Jesus Pobre and the 9-hole course at Javea about 15 minutes away by car.
Javea with its beautiful, sandy, bar-bordered beach, pretty Calpe in the other direction, and Denia with its long, windswept beaches a little North of Javea are well worth visiting and lively Benidorm, Terra Mitica Theme Park & Aqualandia are about 45 mins drive away. Or drive out to the wine-making area of Jalon Valley surrounded by spectacular mountains which is about 20 mins away and perfect for walking, cycling and climbing or just for a long, lazy lunch in a friendly restaurant serving local food.
It really is a lovely area, but there is much to see and do in Moraira itself and, at this apartment, you are on top of all of it. If you prefer not to drive . . well, you don't need to. We can arrange a taxi to take you to/from the airport at very reasonable cost, and you could make an arrangement with the driver for the occasional excursion during your trip if you would like to. Otherwise, just enjoy being able to potter about on foot with everything close-by.
