Very well stocked kitchen and the sitting room has fireplace and dining table. A second table for terrace dining and easy chairs and sun-loungers. Windsurfers and pedallos for hire on the beach. Horse riding nearby.Two Local shops in El Saladillo and Supermarket over the footbridge. |

El Saladiloo is a small development - 10 miles from Marbella. Ten top golf courses are withing half an hour's drive (Los Flamingos is opposite our entrance) and the large sandy beach is within 100 yards! The villa is set in 1000 square meters of lawns, shrubs and flowers and is fenced all round. Cafes on the beach and restaurants within easy walking distance. Puert Banus and Gibraltar are along the coast. There is a good bus service along the main road. Local nightlife suitable for young people and easy to meet new friends. Fifteen minutes to the east is Marbella and Puerto Banus with The fabulous Corte Ingles - Selfridges of Spain! To the west is Tarifa - the windsurfing capiltal of the world and, nearer, Gibraltar (and the apes!) Inland are the Sierras Bermajas with lovely wild flowers and rugged mountain scenery.

Open-air markets such as the one held on a Saturday morning at the Bull Ring at Puerto Banus or down at Estepona Puerto on a Sunday morning are well worth a visit. Easter Parades, wine festivals and travelling fiestas all add to the holiday atmosphere. Places like Ronda and Mijas welcome visitors and are proud to show off their towns.

Teenagers staying in El Saladillo have found the 'Robin Hood' a great centre to meet English speaking friends. it seems to be the 'in' place to gather of an evening and it is within walking distance of the villa - either along the beach or along the mainroad - going east.
