The farmstead has been simply but tastefully restored and attention was paid to retain origional features where possible. La Pergola & Le Ciliege, were origionally a sheep hold and a pig sty.
La Pergola is a small family house with a large open plan cooking, dining and sitting area with fireplace. It has a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with additional bunk bed. The large terrace overlooks the pool and the valley. Le Ciliege is a spacious studio conversion with its own large terrace, shaded by the cherry trees which gives the cottage it's name. It too looks out on the view of the valley framed by our village, Macchie, perched regally on the hilltop to the right. The village shop is a 10 minute walk, the local town Amelia is a ten minute drive and hillside towns such as Perugia, Orvieto, Spoleto, Deruta, Assissi are within 40 -90 minutes drive. Rome is 90 minutes away by car and easily accessible by train.
