This is a stunning property of immense charm filled with character and full of antiques, furnished with our family in mind. The property although ancient is very well appointed. There is a small courtyard garden for al fresco eating and roof terrace with incredible views. The house has an effective heating system making it suitable all year round. The shops and restaurant in the village below are a short , beautiful stroll away

Ideal Hideaway The Presbytery is quite beautiful , surmounting a rock surrounded on all sides by incredible views . The only immediate neighbour is the new (17th century) village church which is rarely used . It is extremely peaceful , yet is very close to many of the numerous attractions of the Luberon area. It is a relaxing sanctuary , ideal for writers , poets artists or lovers.

The house is very well positioned for all the marvellous things Provence has to offer. Choose from hundreds of walks or cycling trails in the Luberon national Park starting from your doorstep. If you love food there are markets every day of the week at local villages, there are also endless opportunities for wine tasting at local vineyards. Explore the famous hilltop villages of Bonnieux , Gordes, Lacoste, Roussillon and many more , all within a very short drive. If your passion is antiques the well known town of Isle sur la Sorgue is nearby with their weekly antique markets. When you fancy canoeing or a swim , a freshwater river straight from the source is 10 mins away. If you prefer the sea the beautiful fishing village of Cassis with lovely beach is 1 hr away. Great for bouillabaisse and Riviera people gazing. In the winter, Mount Ventoux with skiing is 1 hr away.We also have our own 11th century listed chapel within the property.
