| Villanova has been lovingly renovated by its current owners, its terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings reflecting a keen respect for Umbrian country style and charm. A fine example of a farmhouse converted to a sumptuous villa, the property is featured in the book 'Restoring a Home in Italy' and magazines. This family home is furnished with antiques and oriental rugs, with fireplaces, a cast iron stove, a pergola draped with flowering vines and plenty of quality garden furniture and poolside shade. Throughout the house and grounds there is an emphasis on style and comfort. The hilltop town of Todi - which boasts one of Italy's finest medieval piazzas- is a short drive from the house; also under a ten minute drive is a neighbouring riding stables and the town's tennis courts. Our housekeeper is Villanova's secret treasure: her shopping and delicious home cooking always provide heart-warming hospitality for guests.
