Nerja is a lovely seaside town, about 35 miles to the east of Malaga along the Costa del Sol within easy driving distance of many beautiful Andalusian cities, mountain villages and coastal towns. San Juan de Capistrano is a peaceful development set in beautiful tropical gardens but within easy reach of the centre of Nerja and its beaches, shops, bars,and restaurants. Nerja has managed to maintain its Spanish charm (unlike many resorts on the Costa del Sol to the west of Malaga). No visit to Nerja is complete without a visit to the world famous caves.
