This much loved Traditional Portuguese style house, is the owner’s second home, recently refurbished and is accessed by a long private, gated, driveway and set back 400m from the road in a quiet, tree lined valley.
The stone arched entrance hall leads to the lounge, tastefully, furnished in a homely, French country style. The principal rooms are very spacious with 4 bedrooms in the main house and a 5th in the attached annexe, with its own kitchen/utility.
The house is set in extensive, mature and sheltered gardens (4000sqmetres) with lawns, flower beds and trees.
The 10m x 5m pool is set in front of the south facing house and to the rear is a large, typically Mediterranean style, enclosed, courtyard with olive tree, vines and a built in barbecue for alfresco cooking on those balmy summer evenings.

The beautiful beach of Santa Eulalia with its golden sands and unspoilt cliff walks, is just 10 minutes walk, with beach restaurant and excellent lunch stop at the Grande Real Beach Café.
The area in general has some of the most beautiful unspoilt coastline on the Algarve with shallow waters and safe bathing. The nearby bay of Praia Da Oura has many watersports facilities and even more restaurants overlooking the beach.

Thanks for the loan of Casa Do Mel, what a lovely property we had a fantastic holiday it fitted all our requirements!! Away from it all during the day but near to lovely beaches, water sports to keep the kids happy, restaurants/bars for night life and for the energetic late teens, the night clubs! and for the times when you needed to get away from the sun, indoor/outdoor games, television, music and numerous shaded areas!!!! We all enjoyed it, which with 5 kids between 12 and 18 is a tall order!!!
Again may I say we had a fantastic holiday, would love to return to the villa and would have no hesitation in recommending it to our families/friends.

Hi John & Maggie, I have to say your villa was fabulous plus all the little extras it came with. The summer house was a real bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed dining out in the evenings beside the bbq. The kids loved the tarzan swing and the hammock got great use when we needed a shady respite.
The master bedroom was wonderful and the furniture throughout was beautiful. Air Con' in the bedrooms was also a bonus, considering we were getting temps of 35 degrees during our stay. The location was excellent, Santa Eulalia beach is beautiful and only minutes from the villa. Plenty of decent restaurants also within minutes and the Algarve Shopping Centre is only 15 mins drive away. Overall we had a very enjoyable time during our stay and would definitely come back. We wish you the best of luck with the rental of the villa and I've already recommended it to friends for next year.
