Casa Joao is at the end of a quiet lane through electronic gates which open onto a large driveway with ample parking for 4 cars. The pretty walled garden has a large lawn, palm tree, shrubs and night lighting. There is a private swimming pool with a separeate childrenīs pool. The pool is separated from the house by a pool safety fence for toddler security. There are 8 sun loungers, parasols, tables, chairs and a large barbecue. There is also a large sun terrace upstairs where there is another table and 4 chairs.

For those seeking activities there are many things to do all within easy reach. There are several Golf courses within 30 minutes drive. These include Vilamouraīs 5 courses, Quinta do Lago, Sn Lorenco, Balia and Salgados. All of the Algarveīs many other courses are within easy reach by car. Krazy World offers a large swimming pool including 2 childrenīs pools, a reptile park with a very good show, a petting farm and a small fun fair for children. Zoo Marine offers many shows including a dolphin show (you can pre-book to swim with them), Sea Lion show, Parrot show, Birds of Prey and many more. There are numerous water parks nearby, Tennis clubs, Horse Riding and many sea water sports.

Albufeira is famous for its stunning beaches, sunbathing by day and restaurants, bars and discos at night. Loule has many fine old churches and buildings and a famous indoor maket that spills out onto the streets on Saturdays. Alte and Silves with its imposing castle are both full of history and local charm. A visit up to the village of Monchique offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and gentle pace of life that exists outside the hustle and bustle of the coast and tourist resorts.

Vilamoura has a huge marina surrounded by cafes, bars, boutiques and fashionable shops, Recently completd is the Albufeira Marina where there is a large ice skating rink, Go-karting and many other attractions in the summer months. A 10 minute drive away is Algarve Shopping, a large shopping center which has many well know shops, a large food court, ten pin bowling, and a muiltiscreen cinema (most films in English).
