Banditelle has stunning views down the quiet, rural Carpina valley. It has three bedrooms, a double adjacent to a large family bathroom, another double and a twin bedded room both with en-suite shower rooms. Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen/ diner, large comfortable lounge, utility room and WC, and a sunlounge with sofa bed, TV with video player, library, CD collection and Hi-Fi, and games. All downstairs rooms lead onto the patio area with seating and tables and terraced lawns. The pool is set off to the side and has a paved surround for seating and is surrounded by lawns. It, like the patio area, has views down and across the valley.

Banditelle is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and there is an abundance of flora and fauna. In the evenings you can sit and watch the sun go down listening to the cicadas, nightjars and the bark of a deer in the valley. In June the drive and gardens twinkle with the lights of fireflies.During the day you may be lucky and spot wild boar on the hillside opposite or even see one of the local porcupines.
Banditelle can provide a perfect relaxing holiday, but it also provides a good base for exploring the local area and further afield.

The hilltop village of Pietralunga lies just a five minute drive away and combines the medieval with the more modern conveniences. It has two good restaurants and an excellent pizzeria which will also do takeaway pizzas if you prefer. There are several bars which also do snacks. The village has two small supermarkets, with a larger one on the outskirts. There are banks, bakeries and a weekly Friday market.
Situated as it is Banditelle is also ideal for days out to many of the cities of Umbria, Tuscany and Le Marche districts. Towns like Florence, Siena,Perugia,Cortona, Assisi, Urbino, Spoletto, as well as the numerous hilltop villages of Umbria make ideal days out.Lake Trasimeno, one of Italy's largest lakes, is just an hour away with its beaches, restaurants and ferry trips around the lake and to the island of Maggiore. Twenty five minutes away is the lovely town of Gubbio,famous for its pottery, which has many restauants in a variety of styles and prices. Gubbio also has a cable car which leads to the basilica and a restaurant/ cafe with lovely views.There is a weekly market and this town is ideal for a browse around with its views, museums, shops and streets and alleys bedecked with flowers in the summer.
Banditelle can be reached from several airports. Ryanair fies into both Perugia, 40 minutes away, Ancona, 90 minutes,and Rimini 100 minutes. Slightly further afield is Rome 2 1/2 hours, Pisa 3 hours and Forli/ Florence 2 hours. To make the most of your stay at Banditelle a car is essential.
